Feel Better, Live Better

Acupuncture is a thorough, medically-based treatment system that focuses on correcting energy imbalances in the body. It originated in China more than 2,500 years ago and is used to prevent, diagnose, and treat disease. Because of its ability to improve overall well-being, it is a powerful and empowering remedy for the modern lifestyle.

My mission is to treat each person as a whole and see them in health, not just treat their symptoms. Treatments are tailored to the individual along with exploring habits, diet, emotions, and life events to understand how they influence a person’s discomfort, illness, or dis-ease. It is important that each person is listened to and feels comfortable in communicating their needs.

As someone who enjoys being active, going to the gym, yoga, and playing tennis, my lower back was pushed to the limits. Acupuncture helped heal my body and allowed me to continue what I love to do. To my surprise, not only was I feeling physically better, my mental and spiritual levels also improved. Dietary habits began to shift, stress became more manageable, sleep improved, my inner awareness heightened, and I actually found myself smiling and laughing more.

My training includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the College of Charleston and a Masters degree in Acupuncture from the Academy of Five Element Acupuncture. I am a Diplomate of Acupuncture certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, as well as, a Licensed Acupuncturist by the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners. I have training in facial rejuvenation, microneedling, and an additional two years of study in Chinese herbs.

They asked her, “What is the key to saving the world?”
She answered.
”You. You are the key. Heal yourself, know yourself, make yourself whole and free. Release all limits so that your love can flow unconditionally for yourself and the world, this will open the heaven of your heart completely and it will guide you without fail.”
